Watching all the parades and indulging in the infamous margaritas that either make or break the restaurants and bars that serve them.
Fervently shaking and grinding to reggaeton, salsa, or hip hop.
Perusing the lanes of Mercado Veintiocho for genuine Mexican wares, foods, and other memorabilia.
What's nice about having Isla Mujeres in such immediate proximity is that never do you have to choose one or the other; you can have your cake and eat it too, south of the border.
